True, it would be very nice if you could program exactly how many shots were in a bracket like you can on a 1D (2,3, 5, or 7 I believe). Want more than three? Take a high speed burst of three (with only one button press) then shift exposure compensation and take another burst. Scroll right using the cross keys and locate the icon with a wrench named. Main changes are: Improved maximum burst for RAW images (up to 25) In-camera RAW image editing In-camera Image Rating In-camera JPEG resizing Maximum Auto ISO setting (ISO 400-6400) Manual audio level. you hold down the shutter button completely, the three bracketed shots will be taken continuously. Turn on the camera and go to Menu to find the firmware version on your Canon DSLR. Canon have announced v2 of the 7D software to be rolled out in August. The camera will only let you take three shots! It will take three shots then stop. In either high speed or low speed continuous shooting: just hold down the shutter release. In both cases, the new firmware adds a '-1' option for noise reduction. Trying to do the 3 on the 7D in high-speed burst mode is tough to gauge if the shutter speeds keep changing there should be a way to tell the camera to take one bracket with one click. Moving along, Canon has also issued new firmware for its Cinema EOS C300 II and C700 video cameras in Canon and PL-mount form. This feature was used to create both images shown in the figure below. The 7D does only 3 exposures, not much good if you want to take 5,7 or 9 shots. Through the Multiple Exposure option on your Canon EOS 70D, found on Shooting Menu 4 (available only in the advanced exposure modes), you can capture two to nine images and then let the camera blend them into a single photo.
